Instructor
"Short courses for busy managers"
My name is Hassan Osman and I help busy business leaders and managers work more effectively with their teams.
My focus is on three main 'future of work' areas: managing in virtual & hybrid environments, using AI to improve productivity, and enhancing communication among team members.
I write about those topics in my free weekly newsletters, "Leadership 80/20" and "AI for Leaders."
A little about me:
Most recently, I was SVP of Professional Services at NWN Carousel (a $1B organization focused on enabling hybrid work), leading a team of 200+ project managers and engineers on delivering cloud communication services to our customers.
Previously, I was a Director at Cisco Systems, where I led project and program management teams on delivering complex projects for Cisco's customers.
Prior to Cisco, I was a manager at Ernst & Young, where I analyzed failing projects at Fortune 500 companies, and recommended solutions to fix them.
I was also a research assistant at Harvard University, where I studied issues related to virtual teams.
I'm an Amazon bestselling author of multiple books about AI, team management, and communication (including "Generative AI for Busy Business Leaders," "Influencing Virtual Teams," "Don't Reply All," "Hybrid Work Management," "Project Kickoff," "ChatGPT for Better Business Communication," and "Effective Delegation of Authority"), and I hold the PMP, CSM and ITIL certifications.
Most managers don't have a lot of time to watch lengthy courses (that are usually full of fluff). So I focus on creating short courses that help busy managers become more effective leaders, without wasting their time.
I have published courses about Generative AI, Writing Better Emails, Managing Hybrid Teams, Using ChatGPT for Business Communication, Delegating Effectively, Leading Virtual Meetings, and Managing and Influencing Virtual Teams.
